Welcome to Dodcott-cum-Wilkesley, the southernmost parish in Cheshire and right next to Shropshire on our west and southern boundaries. Nestled in beautiful rolling countryside between the market towns of Whitchurch and Market Drayton in Shropshire and Nantwich in Cheshire, we represent the best of rural life today. Steeped in centuries of history and vernacular architecture with dairy farming at its heart, the parish also supports a wide variety of independent rural businesses in hospitality, tourism and services industries. With busy road links across the Northwest, we are easily accessible by car and rail and our stunning countryside attracts people from far and wide. Looking for shops, pubs and services? Audlem is just a stone's throw to the east and sits along the picturesque Shropshire Union Canal and local towns are buzzing with quality and independent businesses. Within our parish, you’ll find the lovely villages and hamlets of Burleydam, Combermere, Royals Green, Lightwood Green, Wilkesley, and part of Shavington. Though we have a modest 350 names on our electoral register, we’re proud to be the largest parish in Cheshire by area!
